R and LaTeX, among other programs, offer powerful tools with which we can analyze sign languages. Here are some of the packages that are especially useful for sign linguists like me.
signglossR - Created by sign language tech whiz Calle Börstell to pull frames from videos in publicly available lexicons to create images for use in manuscripts.
rELAN - For pulling data from ELAN files. One among many similar packages, this one works the best for me.
slgloss - To write in sign language linguistic conventions by glossing in small caps and having overlines to indicate non-manual markers.
